VT-03F RION Viscometer

Japanese-made viscometer designed for testing industrial materials such as heavy oil, paint, coatings, adhesives, etc. It is used for quality control during the production of food and other products. When inspecting construction vehicles and other mechanical equipment, it can measure the viscosity of hydraulic oil, light engine oil, gear oil, etc. The instrument operates on the rotating cylinder principle. A rotor rotating at a constant speed is inserted into the liquid being tested. The viscosity of the liquid creates resistance to the rotor's movement, which is measured via a specialized mechanical device, providing a direct reading in millipascal-seconds (mPa·s) or decapascal-seconds (dPa·s). Compact in size, it can be operated with one hand, powered by dry cells, and used anywhere.
